Music on the Porch is an annual benefit event celebrating mountain music and Appalachian traditions.
We are starting the planning for the 2026 Music on the Porch Farmstead Festival on Saturday, September 5th. If you are interested in helping us shape this years event fill out the volunteer form. The demonstrators were a big hit in 2025, if you have a skill or craft to share with the community we would like to hear about it. We are also expanding this year to include a farmstead market, if you are a local crafter or farmer who would like to have a booth this year, are interested in performing or providing a demonstration, email Danielle at museum@appwomen.org.
